At the Anak Ranch of Mongolia, you will sleep in a ger, the traditional Mongolian nomad’s home. You can ride the open steppe and hills of the last great unfenced wilderness of the world. You can learn to drink vodka the Mongolian way, accepting a proffered glass with honour and blessing the Khokh Tenger in the direction of the four winds.

The Anak Ranch lies in the mountainous Orkhon Valley in the rugged steppe-taiga country near the Siberian border. Praised by the governor of Selenge province as northern Mongolia’s model ranch, the Anak Ranch runs 100 head of cattle and 30 horses, plus goats, sheep, dogs, cats, and an occasional wolf.

Our rates are by the day and include accommodation in a ger, all meals, horse riding, and adventure at the ranch.
