Le Camp offers glamping with the luxury of a hotel, the self-sufficiency of a private villa and the adventure of sleeping under the stars in the French countryside.
Set deep in the countryside of south western France, Le Camp offers peace and tranquility off the beaten path. There are platform tents and yurts to choose from for the accommodations, offering class and comfort under the stars.
The six wooden tents sit on raised wooden platforms, and have two bedrooms – each with handmade beds. In a separate room, there is a dressing area and an eco-friendly dry composting toilet. There is soft solar lighting and unique, handcrafted furnishings.
The woodland yurts are an intimate cocoon among the trees. just over 21m² of floor space they make a wonderful hideaway for a couple, or a great space for a family who want to share some time together. At night, gaze up at the stars through the transparent roof window, which can also be removed for fresh air. Each has its own private woodland space with a carefully positioned hammock for lazy afternoons in the shade. There is also a giant yurt, built in the same, dramatic style as the woodland yurts, only much bigger, at 45m², this big beauty can swallow large families. There is lots of outside space too, with your own sandpit and fire pit and a shaded seating area.
There is a unique handcrafted shower house, built entirely from local wood. It offers private shower rooms for an indoor/outdoor shower experience. Local, organic toiletries are provided and all the water is recycled. There is also a fully equipped indoor/outdoor kitchen, a natural swimming pool and a snug (aka lounge). Plenty of toys and activities will keep the kids busy while you’re relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings.
