Kirurumu Manyara Lodge – open year round

Set high on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, our original tented lodge enjoys a marvellous, uplifting and panoramic view eastward over Lake Manyara, the Rift floor and Mt. Losimingori.  Behind Kirurumu, the Ngorongoro Highlands rise in green and fertile splendour and form the gateway to Ngorongoro Crater and, finally, Olduvai Gorge, the Serengeti.

Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge – opening June 1, 2011

Set high in private land on the northern tip of the Tarangire National Park, the tented lodge has stunning views over a water hole and into the park, and it’s ideally located only fifteen minutes off the main Tarangire road and again only fifteen minutes drive away from the main Tarangire National Park gate.

Kirurumu Serengeti Camp – open December 20 – March 31 & June 1 – October 31

A luxury mobile camp, moved seasonally to take best advantage of the vast Serengeti.  The camp is used as a spring board for an early morning game drive, a break for a sumptuous lunch, a respite from the heat of the day and the finale to a day’s adventure where stories can be swapped around a fire.  As a small and intimate camp the staff are on hand just to look after a very limited number of guests and so the level of attention and service is always excellent.

Kirurumu Tarangire Camp – open: June 1 – October 31

Located in a private campsite just outside the Tarangire National Park but bordering the boundary in its own private land, Tarangire Camp is perfectly positioned in a grove of beautiful Acacia Tortilis trees. Recently completely renewed, the camp is an ideal base from which to explore the best of Tarangire’s amazing game viewing. Tarangire is the fourth biggest National Park in Tanzania. Magnificent 1000-year-old giant Baobab trees punctuate the park and large herds of elephant and other game seasonally swell the large numbers of resident game. Being set outside the park, walking and short night game drives are key draws to this intimate bush camp.

Private Luxury Camping is a boutique product designed for guests that require an entirely private experience – in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire or indeed any location in Northern Tanzania. We simply provide the camp and crew and make sure that your guests are never left wanting for anything. Our private camps are not branded and we can even brand the camp according to requirements.

Rates vary according to property/season, and include accommodation, meals (BB, Half Board, Full Board), game park fees where applicable, and safari vehicle with driver/guide for your group.
