Goldenwood Lodge is a peaceful and quiet retreat located right on the edge of the wilderness in Golden, BC – in the majestic Canadian Rocky mountains.

There are many accommodations options to choose from at the Goldenwood Lodge. There is a two bedroom unit in the main lodge that sleeps up to four guests; several cottages that sleep two to four guests – some with kitchens; and two deluxe lodges that sleep up to 10.

The Teepee camp is open from mid-June to mid-September and features a total of seven teepees with a spacious day lodge. Two of the teepees accommodate up to five guests in one single and two double beds; while the other five accommodate up to four guests in one double and two single beds. Each teepee is equipped with covered mattresses and pillows, mosquito nets, a picnic table and an outdoor firepit.

The day lodge at the teepee camp features full cooking facilities including dishes, pots and pans; an electric range with oven; a pizza oven; a refrigerator and food lockers. There is also a grill area with picnic tables, an outdoor fire pit and free firewood. The washrooms and showers are centrally located and there is also a day room.

Activities at the Goldenwood Lodge include canoeing, bird watching, train spotting, swimming, mountain biking and hiking. Nearby, you can enjoy a gondola ride to the top of Kicking Horse Mountain’s Eagle Eye; visit a local petting zoo or buffalo farm; go mountain climbing, hang gliding or para-gliding; or take in a round of golf.
