Eagle River Nature CenterStarting at $65
The Eagle River Nature Center offers a rustic, back country yurt and cabin glamping experience in the wilds of Alaska. The cabin sleeps 8 persons on wooden sleeping platforms. Cabin includes wood stove and firewood(stacked in woodshed and wood storage area a short walk from the cabin); table; benches; and porch. The latrine is located approximately .1 miles from the cabin. Nearby water source available (freshwater pond), but the water should be purified before drinking.
There are two public access yurts available for rent at the Eagle River Nature Center. Both are accessible via walking trail. The Center is located outside of Anchorage, Alaska.
The River Trail Yurt sleeps up to four persons – two on plywood bunkbeds and two on the wood floor. The yurt includes a wood stove and firewood, two chairs and a table, a bear-proof storage container, and a nearby latrine.
The Rapids Camp Yurt sleeps up to four people, with room for an additional two on the wood floor. The yurt includes a double wide plywood bunkbed, wood stove and firewood, two chairs and a table, a bear-proof container and a deck.
