The whole family will enjoy this unique glamping experience in the heart of Yosemite National Park.  This is the ideal destination for those who like to camp without the hassle of setting up a tent.

Yosemite Housekeeping Camp is located along a wild and scenic section of the Merced River in the center of Yosemite Valley.

There are 286 units in the Housekeeping Camp area, and each can accommodate up to six people.  The units are constructed of a double canvas roof, three concrete walls and a concrete floor, while the fourth wall consists of a sliding curtain.  The curtain separates the sleeping area from the covered patio area, furnished with a picnic table, bear-proof food storage container and privacy fence.

The sleeping area consists of two single bunk beds, a double bed, a table and chairs, a mirror, electrical outlets and lights.  Unfortunately, there is no turn-down service or linens though you may rent a bed-pack (2 sheets, 2 blankets and 2 pillows) for $2.50 per night.  Despite the name, housekeeping service is not actually provided.

Restrooms and a shower house with soap and towels are centrally located, just a short walk away.  Guest Services include a camp laundry, a camp store with basic groceries and supplies, and free transportation to locations in the Yosemite Valley.
