Cape Lookout State Park is located an hour and a half west of Portland, on the scenic North Coast of Oregon.  Nestled in a lush coastal forest on a sand spit between the Pacific Ocean and Netarts Bay, Cape Lookout State Park is a destination for sightseers, hikers, beachcombers and glampers who appreciate a harmonious blend of nature and recreation.


Camping is available year round, with 38 full hook up sites, 173 tenting sites, 1 electrical site with water, 13 yurts, and 3 deluxe log cabins.  Each site has a paved parking spot, a picnic table and a fire ring.  The park has hot showers and flush toilets and firewood for sale.


The Yurts are domed tents with structural support, wooden floors, lockable doors, lights, heating and beds with mattresses.  A bunk bed sleeps three, and a fold-out couch sleeps two.  The deluxe cabins, which also accommodate five campers, have refrigerators, microwave ovens, barbecue grills and bathrooms with showers. They are located next to the day-use area.  All cabin and yurt sites have fire rings, picnic tables and covered porches.


The cabins sleep 5 and feature a futon couch/double bed;  a double/single-sized bunk bed; dining table and chairs; refrigerator; microwave; gas BBQ grill; TV/VCR; shower/bathroom; heat; lights; electricity and a covered porch.


Cape Lookout is located on a sand spit, with amazing ocean views and easy beach access.  Beachcombing is very popular and there are more than eight miles of hiking and walking trails through the lush, old-growth forest.
